About Matthew Fenton

Hello, My name is Matthew Fenton. I am a second-year student at the University of Florida. I am a Sport Management major, which is part of the college of Health and Human performance. I am 19 years old, and I am from Tampa, Florida, where I was born and raised. I have strong interests in sports, music, food, travel, exercise, and video games. I enjoy sport management, because it incorporates so many other fields of study, such as business, law, psychology, statistics, and public relations, along with many others. At the University of Florida, I am part of the marching band, and I am part of the trombone section. I have always loved sports, and I hope that someday I can have a career that gets me involved in sports in some way. I would consider going to Law school or MBA school after I complete my undergraduate degree. Also, I would consider a minor in Spanish, as I believe this would be useful in the business world and for me personally when communicating with members of my family. I feel like this skill set would grant me opportunities to get involved in a sports organization and either deal with business aspects of sports or deal with legal aspects of sports.
