I created a digital image using photoshop. This was a very different experience for me, because I was not very experienced in photo editing. Photoshop has an array of features that I had to my disposal, and I honestly was a bit overwhelmed at first. Using this program took the most trial and error out of all my projects. One of the important elements that I used was that of the background filtering. I was able to mix two different colors to create a gradient background, and in this instance, I used an orange and blue background. The magic eraser was another element that came in handy by allowing me to crop out unimportant details of images that I inserted from the internet onto the digital photoshop. Photoshop allows users to personalize their projects by giving the user a blank canvas and a multitude of tools. Overall, Photoshop was most difficult application to understand of the entire class. There were just so many tools, and the layout was very different from the Microsoft apps that I have used before. Photoshop’s large array of features allows users to create brilliant work. Photoshop will help me in the future because it will allow me to be creative in order to convey a message that I can use within my field of study.
