I learned how to create a presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint. I feel as though I did a good job conveying my information in an understandable way. It is very important to understand how to organize ideas from your mind onto some form of digital media that is easy to follow, and this is an advantage that PowerPoint provides. PowerPoint allowed me to customize the slide to better fit the theme of the content that I was presented, which I also found useful.

My presentation was about the advantages of using IBM Watson in the Business world. I am fascinated by the way that AI has allowed for business to let technology make human decisions. Watson takes unstructured data and can project future outcomes and make decisions for a company. My presentation helps to explain the usage of this technology in my professional field, along with the pros and cons.

I focused on a multitude of digital design elements. The first element that I focused on was organization. I wanted to make sure that the readers of my presentation were able to follow my ideas, so I made sure to separate each section and to use headings to differentiate what topics I was mentioning at different points in the presentation. I also incorporated the use of bullet point at times so that ideas can be short and accessible.

 

A different digital design element I focused on was aesthetics. I made it a point to use a background that I felt fit well with the theme of technology, and I included appropriate images that would contribute to my ideas. I paid attention to the different colors that are present throughout the presentation, as I needed to make sure that the combination of colors were not clashing.
