Digital storytelling has become a very common method of storytelling, and the features of modern technology create very entertaining stories that are more captivating for the viewer. In this course, I created a digital story using the iMovie app. However, there are so many different digital storytelling and video creating apps that can be used to create entertaining content such as PowToon and many others. With digital storytelling, it is important to keep the viewer entertained at the very beginning of the video so that they are more likely to continue watching through the entire video. That is why an entertaining plot is very critical, and, enticing audio and visual content. Digital storytelling can be useful in education by making content have a plot element that makes students want to learn. It is important for me to understand how to be creative and understand what type of content will keep an audience entertained.

For this digital story, I wanted to recount my experience in Tennessee for a weekend that I travelled with our marching to support the football team. This was a fun experience for me, because I had the chance to represent my school in a road environment. I enjoyed the ability to display my school pride, and it was an overall meaningful experience for me. I really felt that I could create a story using iMovie that would capture the excitement that I felt during this experience, and the chronological order of events. I hope that my story keeps viewers interested, but I hope to improve my storytelling abilities in the future.
